  • I am using Creator Update and this feature is present in Edge.

To start streaming, just head to the web page you want to stream in Microosft Edge. Click or tap the menu button and select “Cast media to device”. You’ll see a list of nearby MIracast and DLNA devices you can use. Select a device and start casting.

  • Thanks. I reported it already through the Feedback Hub.

I hope it will be fixed soon and we don't need to wait until the next feature update before the end of the year...

Agree with you. I think the new Media Cast program has invoke the wrong Connect panel after upgrade. Please re-compile again.

  • +1 Agree!

Edge Browser now totally useless. This feature was the one and only reason I used it.

Definitely there is a major problem. I have one old laptop and one PC without creator update, where Edge finds my Samsung TV, but my new Asus Zendesk laptop does not since (!) the creator update. But all of them can play videos from within the windows explorer. So no change here. This feature to play YouTube via Edge on the TV set (i found out only half a year ago) surprised me. Unfortunately they killed it. So Windows again will fall back to my runtime for virtualization in dev.

Do you see anything different with Win-k ?   I can't tell if you have cropped a link at the bottom of its display but in there I have a link which says "Find other types of devices".  Perhaps you could pick your TV that way?  It seems it could be done in the same procedure if it is there.
