Your Kaspersky is causing netio.sys to fail.  I would remove Kaspersky & Symantec and use the built in defender (or some other Malware application).  It is never a good idea to have more than one malware application active as they often conflict.

  • When has it started?

More information needed, you need to provide the dump file to resolve the issue.

Copy the dmp files to your desktop. Now try to upload them to your OneDive (SkyDrive) folder.

This is the link for the dmp files on my laptop. Please look into this and provide some solution as the frequency of the error has increased in last couple of days. Thank you in advance1

  • thank you for all the help. I think your solution worked.  I removed Kaspersky and Norton.  But I am worried that after I have removed these security softwares my computer would be very vulnerable to viruses.  What is your suggestion on which ant-virus I should get for windows 8.1.  Thanks in advance.

Malware is your choice.  I would stay away from Norton, Kaspersky, and McAfee.  Apps that should work include AVG, ESET, and the built in defender

  • Thanks. The windows defender is turned off - This is shown in access control window.  When I turn on the virus protection it takes to system 32 folder but the status does not change.

Should I download the defender again ?
