programmatically turn off some notifications RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to disable the "Link your Phone" and the "Your Personal Assistant on the Go" and similar notifications for our organization in Windows 10. I would like to do it via group policy, registry change, or something else I can automate.

I think this is done manually in modern Settings > Notifications & Actions. Scroll down and turn off "Suggested." This is a per-user setting, I believe.

I've tried using process monitor and registry compare tools, but Microsoft seems to obfuscate where these settings actually are. Has anyone found a way to programmatically modify these Notifications & Actions toggles?

    Thanks much, Gary
