Unable to install latest firmware updates on Surface Laptop 3.

We are seeing an odd issue where we are unable to install the latest firmware updates on our Surface Laptop 3 (Intel). We upgraded the OS on this system from Windows 10 1809 to 1909.
When attempting to install "SurfaceLaptop3_Win10_18362_20.010.3582.0.msi" on a computer that has Windows 10 1909 installed it states this computer already has the latest firmware updates installed. This computer also has SurfaceLaptop3_Win10_17763_20.020.4371.0.msi installed on it. The 17763 build has a higher msi version than build 18362.
We are pushing this from SCCM. Do we have to uninstall "SurfaceLaptop3_Win10_17763_20.020.4371.0.msi" first, if so what issues will happen when doing so? The user is at home right now working remotely and dont want to make the machine not functional anymore.
