"System Setting Change" Error message. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, whenever I open the laptop a window pops up saying:
"Your hardware settings have changed. Please reboot your computer for these changes to take effect."

I went to (Troubleshooting > Hardware & Devices) and checked if there were any problems detected. And there was and the laptop needed Restart, so i did. But after the restart still same window popped up again.
Please help and thanks in advance.

  • Hi Garabed_B,

According to your description, we could right click on the Win icon in the bottom left of the screen and go to Device Manager and see if there is a problem with any hardware.

Then We could go to the device manager and right click on the graphic driver to check for update.

If the issue still insists, I suggest that we could update the Graphic driver to the latest version from the manufacturer’s official website. Also we need boot in Clean Boot to avoid the effects of third party software and temporarily turn off security software.

Hope it will be helpful to you
