Why isn't there a Bluetooth device setup in Windows 7...? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Why isn't there a Bluetooth device setup in Windows 7 in the Control Panel? There was when I had Windows Vista SP 2 but when I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro that option is no longer available. Will there be an option for this in the future? If not, please add it in SP 1 with Windows Update.

Answers

  • Open Devices and Printers on the start menu (or Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Devices and Printers) and then click Add a Device. Windows 7 will look for and hopefully find your Bluetooth device.
