DPC_Watchdoh_Violation and Bad_Pool_Header BSOD RRS feed

  • Question

  • So for the past few weeks my computer has been crashing several times a day With two different error messages being shown. when I get the error message dpc watchdog violation my computer freezes and then the error message appears. But when the error message bad pool header appears my computer instantly crashes instead of freezing. I have noticed that dpc watchdog violation seems to happen much more often. The things i have tried so far are updating my drivers and doing the sfc scan(Which showed no problems) if anyone could help me that would be amazing. I have attached all the dump files in my dump folder which I believe contain both dpc watchdog violation errors and the bad pool header errors

  • Hi,

First, if you have turn on the System restore feature on Windows 10, you can first try this to fix this issue.

If not, Please upload them to a file sharing service like Onedrive or "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here
If you have any questions about the procedure please ask
