Network Drives Inaccessible when "Always Available Offline" is Enabled RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Support,

    Good day to you all.

As what the title says, our network drives becomes inaccessible when "Always Available Offline" is enabled.

It's not immediately after we enables the "Always Available Offline". It would work for a while (could be a few days) then it will become inaccessible.

Also, not all users are affected. And, only happens to 1 of our sites. It's happening in Dublin site and not in Hong Kong site.

We'll be able to access the network drive by going to it manually via \\server\folder\etc. and by disabling "Always Available Offline".

Net use shows the network drives to be unavailable.

  • Hi,

Did the issue occur on specific user account or specific PC?

Please try to delete the connection, the try to recreate the connection to see if the issue still occur.

And you could also use following command to recreate the connection in Command Prompt (as administrator).

    net use driveletter: \\path  /persistent:yes

    For example: net use h: \\computername\test  /persistent:yes

In addition, please check for and install any available updates. (Type Check for updates in search box , then select Check for updates. )
