userinit.exe failed to load on windows 7

    Question

  • I installed windows 7 few days ago. I took backup in my external Hard drive. when I install program like UltraISO or Visual Studio or even Adobe photoshop and restart my computer, it displays this error message "userinit failed to load" and then it's a blanc screen. I can do nothing but restart. when I restore system it works okay but problem continues when I try to install either of these software.

Does anybody know the solution? Is this happening because of compatibility issue of software with 7 ?

  • Hi Trimal,

Mostly, this issue is cuased by the userinit.exe file corrupt/missing/cannot read. Do you have security software? If so, please temporarily disable them to test this issue.

Also, You can try to run SFC /Scannow in CMD window to check system files.

    Does it work?

    Hope it helps.
