Why install Movie Maker 2012 and need update for Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family (NO DRIVERS)

    Question

  • I got Windows 7 Ultimate and I have big problem now. I install the new Microsoft messenger with all future and got this now.

What I do now to resolve this?
Intel and Microsoft don't have new drivers for "Dell Inspiron E1705" with

"Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family" video card.

We see that need last drivers for this card.
    I need help now.
    Who make my drivers?

Its too much money to lose a laptop and having to buy another and still lose money because a company does not want to make new drivers.

Any company gives me the money to buy a new laptop?

  • Hi,

From the document Henrik shared, we can see “Movie Maker 2012: Video card or video driver that supports Microsoft DirectX 10.0 (or later).” However, the document for Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 doesn’t mention if it supports Microsoft DirectX 10.0 or not.

    Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950

    http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/gma950/

As this is related Intel device and driver, it is also recommended that you contact Intel for help:

    Intel® Customer Support

    http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support?iid=hdr+support

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

  • Last Drivers for my Video card in 2009.

Now - 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 NO DRIVERS SUPPORT FROM MICROSOFT, DELL OR INTEL COMPANY.

Don't buy any computer with Intel video card. You got only 2 years and no more support.

Buy any computer with nVidia video cards.
nVidia got all the time support in all video cards.
