  • Hi Pankaj,

If this server is a DC, you will get the waring "Installing Exchange Server on a domain controller will elevate the privileges for Exchange  Trusted Subsystem to domain administrator", and installing on a DC is not a recommended option.

You can create another vm machine, which install windows server 2019 datacenter desktop experience, and joined-in the domain, then make sure all the requirements for Exchange 2019 have been met, and refer this article to install Exchange 2019 on this server again.

If still failed with errors, you can send the Setup log(C:\ExchangeSetupLogs\ExchangeSetup.log) to ibsexc@microsoft.com, that would give us more clues to help troubleshoot the issue.

  • Hi Thameur,

Thanks for your instant response, however, I am still stuck with the same problem, till now I have made approx 15 machines but no luck,

I am following the exact same steps as mentioned in - https://judeperera.wordpress.com/2018/08/06/step-by-step-guide-for-installing-exchange-server-2019-preview/

Note - I am trying to install exchange server on VMware 14 windows server 2019 datacenter desktop experience, with only ADDS installed.

The only warning I am getting is - https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/82a850f6-335d-4554-a5d4-913457a78175/installing-exchange-server-on-a-domain-controller-will-elevate-the-privilleges-for-exchange-trusted?forum=exchangesvrdeploy
