Right Click Error --> Win7 Explorer

    Question

  • When I right click on pictures windows 7 explorer stops to process and asks me to close app, restart app etc... it happens too frequently.
Is this a known error or only for me?

  • this is possibly happens due to many reasons, like due to old graphics drivers or low capablitiy graphics card. do not clean the thumnails cache, and wait until windows completes the cache building, the green wave in the address bar in the explorer......

  • Also, a software compatibility issue can cause similar issue. Did you install any view picture software? Could you please test the issue in Safe Mode?

    Thanks.

  • Are you sure your system does not have any incompatible applications installed? I have problems with some applications that install context menu on Windows Explorer and crashes Explorer everytime I right-click on executable files. I just solved the problem by fixing the registry using CCleaner.
