  • Hi Golek Upo,

Can we create VPN connection before? Have you checked the device manager for corrupted drivers? Have you installed any third party VPN software?
Here is a similar symptom for reference:
VPN not working - Missing device

We could try Kaspar Frederiksen`s suggestion to have a check.
As Ozsi posted, we could run the antivirus software to have a diagnostic to ensure the safety of the system.
To troubleshoot whether there is a third party conflict issue, we could perform a clean boot to have a check.

    Best regards

  • I had this same issue. I fixed it as follows:

    1. Run Device Manager
    2. Click Action, Add legacy hardware
    3. Select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)"
    4. Select "Network adapters"
    5. Highlight Manufacturer = Microsoft
    6. Choose one of the "WAN miniport" models
    7. After the software is installed, delete the non-functioning VPN connection add it again.
