GPO "Remove default pinned items from taskbar" not working

Question
-
Client: Windows 7 Enteprise 32bit, latest updates
Domain controller: Windows Server 2012, latest updates
GPO: "Remove default pinned items from taskbar" is enabled
Problem: after many gpupdates and reboots there're still three pinned apps (Internet Explorer, Explorer, Windows Media Player) on taskbar. Other GPOs defined in same policy are applied sucessfully.
Desired state: no pinned apps.

Might be a stupid question, but exactly where do you find that setting?

Oki, that's what I thought.
Was wondering where 'Remove default pinned items from taskbar' came from.
Have you tried running 'rsop' for the user logging in. I can tell you the actual what settings are applied, and if there are any issues applying policies.
That setting should indeed remove all pinned apps.

As I wrote earlier - yes I have. It's there and the setting is enabled.
