    However, you may install the program in Windows XP compatibility mode. Follow the steps below to install this program in Windows XP Compatibility mode on Windows 10:

    1.   Right click on the setup file.

    2.   Go to Properties.

    3.   Click on the Compatibility tab.

    4.   Place a check mark the box in the box in front of “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and from the drop down menu choose Windows XP.

    5.   Place a check mark on "Run as an Administrator" under privileges level and click on Apply and then Ok.

    6.   Now double click on the setup file to initiate the install.

    Sometimes setting an older version of WordPerfect to run in Windows XP compatibility mode will work - assuming the WordPerfect version came out after Windows XP was released. (Right-click the program's icon, choose Properties, and click on the Compatibility tab.)

    According to the Corel’s document, WordPerfect X3 is not compatible with Windows 10. But you could just have a try on installing it in compatibility mode.

    Also, you can contact Corel support to confirm.

    If the WordPerfect X3 isn’t compatible, you may use a latest version.
