EmployeeID in Exchange 2010 Global Address List

Pergunta
-
Dear All,
I'm trying to add the EmployeeID field to the Global Address List as described in Lynn-Li her answer:
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/4a7bd024-ef45-42c8-9938-ea1c9f111b41/i-want-to-add-employee-id-field-in-exchange-2010-gal?forum=exchange2010
However, the field don't gets populated in Outlook. Is there an extra step needed?
Many thanks in advance

Hi,
Do you mean you can see the "Employee ID" box in the Outlook, but no value is displayed?
I test in my environment, and get the same result. I modify the details template, and set the value for the attribute employeeID and employeeNumber from ADUC. However, the value is not displayed from Outlook.
As Andy mentioned, you have to use extension attribute to add employee ID as a workaround, and it works well in my test.
1. Change to use extension attribute to display employee ID:
2. Set the attribute from ADUC:
3. Restart Outlook to check the user information:

You prob need to use a Custom Attribute and populate that with the Employee Number
