  • I assume you want to connect to a wireless network. If so, go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Network and Sharing Center > Connect to a network > Click on the one you want to connect to > Connect. You will have to type a Wireless Key as the network is probably ‘secured’.

    To connect to a network automatically, go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Network and Sharing Center > Manage wireless networks (in the left pane) > Right-click the network name > Properties and put a tick in Connect automatically.

    Could you please give more detailed information about your issue?

    Do you want to troubleshoot why can not connect to a wireless network automatically?

    If you have ticked the "connect automatically" option but the issue still exists, it may caused by power configuration.

    Please check power configuration:

    1. Right click on the Start button and click on Device manager.
    2.Click twice on the Network adapters section to expand it.
    3. Select your computer’s WiFi adapter from the list that appears and then right click on it. From the right click menu, select “Properties”.
    4. A dialog box will appear where you have to click on the Power management and uncheck the “Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power”.
    5. Click on OK and when the changes are saved, your computer should start connecting automatically to Wi-Fi as soon as it wakes up from a sleep, a shutdown, r a restart.
