  You could just check for update and install all updates.

  The latest version of IE for Windows Vista is IE9, if you want the latest version of IE (e.g. IE11), you should upgrade to the latest version of Windows like Windows 10.

  Since the latest version of Internet Explorer cannot be installed in Windows Vista, consider installing Google Chrome which is an excellent, secure browser.
