    I'm trying to setup an unattend file, and I cannot for the life of me find anything on this. I've searched for hours.

    I want to disable hardware autodetection, so that sysprep will retain all the preinstalled drivers and not uninstall and redetect them during deployment.

    I had to dig and find all the very specific drivers for sound and video for these machines, and when I deploy them they are replaced by generic drivers that don't function. I don't want to have to manually reinstall two pieces of hardware for this lab.

    Hi,

    have a look at the following settings in the unattended.xml:

    DoNotCleanUpNonPresentDevices and PersistAllDeviceInstalls. Check the help file of WSIM for further details.

    This keeps all the drivers installed on the system.
