ie11 crashes when accessing to lastminute.com why? RRS feed

  • Trying to access to search for a flight+hotel in lastminute.com site, ie11 crashes:

    Internet explorer has stopped working

    In the event viewer i found this:

    This is failing in safe mode and also disabling add-ons

  • Probably, the owner of the site isn't designed this site working with IE.

    You could try to use a different browser with this site.

    Have you ever used another browser on your computer to access this website?

    Meanwhile, please refer to the following methods to troubleshoot:

    1. Try to reset Internet Explorer 11 and check.

    2. Try to go to Microsoft Update install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer.

    3. Upgrade win7 to the latest version and check if it works.

  • Hi,

    Yes i have chrome installed and i can use it for lastminute.com. I just post it here not because ie has problem to visualize the site but for the crash.

    I reset ie11 to its default settings and the problem persists.

    I will upgrade win7 to the latest version and i will inform you.

  • Well Windows Update gets you System OS updates/Internet Explorer is not one of them,Win updater has no update.To resort to a new Win Internet Explorer,use the Windows Update Catalog,use the link listed..

    Select the IE update that youre OS runs with...Also,in catalog,type:  890830  download & run...Then also,open control-panel/Windows Defender/HELP/Chk for updates/run with the new update..All are needed for the OS....

  • Everything is updated and the problem persists. Seems to be related to css, but no idea what is.

    Trying to access this URL in compatibility mode and check.

    If you can use IE11 to access other website, maybe search for a flight+hotel isn't compatible with win7 in lastminute.com site. Beacuse I can use win10 to access it successfully.
