  • Hi Swapz123,

    Thanks for posting here.

So we got these two event form both DNS servers ? are both DNS servers also domain controller which holding AD-integrated zone ?

What OS is running on these two DNS servers , if they are windows serve 2003 ,please first trying the quick fix in KB 842804:

A Windows Server 2003-based computer may stop responding when it is resumed from standby and events 1030 and 1058 are logged in the application log of a domain controller

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842804/

Ensure the Net Logon service has started up and been set to automatic startup on both DNS/DC servers.

Check the sharing and NTFS permission of Sysvol and make user the “Authenticatied Users” has been granted proper permissions.

How to Give Users Access to Group Policy Objects

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/273857/

Try to perform command “dfsutil /purgemupcache” on both servers.

    Thanks.

  • Hi Swapz123,

    Thanks for posting here.

So what about other methods I suggested previously ? Please first check if this is a domain controller , we can verify the by command “wmic.exe ComputerSystem get DomainRole” and see the result :

    http://blogs.dirteam.com/blogs/sanderberkouwer/archive/2009/09/23/how-to-tell-whether-it-s-a-server-core-domain-controller.aspx

If this is a domain controller, please try to perform the command “DCDIAG /TEST:DNS” and post back the result here :

    Domain Controller Diagnostics Tool (dcdiag.exe)

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc776854(WS.10).aspx

And please also post the full error message of these two events.

    Thanks.
