WSUS event ID 364 CRC Failure - all updates show not downloaded RRS feed

I followed the steps but ALL the updates are showing that they have not been downloaded but when i spot check a few folders under wsuscontent\ there are files in those folders marked as "5D", "33", 2A" and so on.

This is the error i am getting inside the event viewer on the server. I have since updated the server using the website for MS updates and it updates fine.

    Thanks

P.S. Looked up another error and it seems that there is one more that has a different filename:

If the file download failed... then whatever might be in your WSUSContent\* subfolders is likely not a valid file, and thus the WSUS Console will continue to report those files as Not Downloaded. It's not just about *A* file being present with the correct filename, it's about a *VALID* file being present with the correct filename.

Your objective is to find out what device, sitting between the WSUS Server and Microsoft (usually a Proxy Server) is mucking with your file downloads and causing bit errors resulting in CRC verification failures.
