Hello, all. I've read that SQL 2012/SSIS will have support for Oracle CDC (Change Data Capture). Was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on setting up this up, or provide an example.

Hello,

I did not see anything built in in SSIS 2012 regarding Oracle CDC, but here is Attunity Oracle-CDS for SSIS.

If you want to beta test it, the .iso DVD image file for SQL Server 2012 Release Candidate 0 has the two setup files which you can run to get the Attunity Oracle CDC service.

Download the .html from here, and it will tell you how to get the .iso for the beta trial edition. http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=28145

Or get the RC0 iso download here using the ISO download menu: http://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pd/SQLDCTP3CTA/enus/

I haven't unzipped mine yet, but I think the msi is in a subfolder like these examples:

D:\Tools\AttunityCDCOracle\x64\1033\AttunityOracleCdcDesigner.msi
D:\Tools\AttunityCDCOracle\x64\1033\AttunityOracleCdcService.msi

D:\Tools\AttunityCDCOracle\x86\1033\AttunityOracleCdcDesigner.msi
D:\Tools\AttunityCDCOracle\x86\1033\AttunityOracleCdcService.msi
