  • Follow these steps one after other to to do SCCM client installation:

    1.      Copy the client folder from SCCMServer machine to Client machine
The SCCM 2012 client is stored on your SCCM server (or additional Management Points) in the Client-folder under SMS_SITECODE (\\SCCMSERVER\SMS_SITECODE\Client\).
You can run the setup using syntax or just simply use the GUI to choose your settings after installation.
    2.      Open Cmd prompt using admin rights
    3.      Goto the client folder location
    4.      Type the following command
    ccmsetup.exe /mp:SCCMSERVER /logon SMSSITECODE=AUTO fsp= SCCMSERVER

    Regards.

It seems that the client did not find the DP location through the MP, which prevented the CM client installation from being performed. My suggestion is to first check whether any DP is included in the boundary group where the client is located in the boundary group that has been defined. In the console of the SCCM site server, navigate to the following location Administration> Hierarchy Configuration> Boundary Groups, find the boundary group where the client is located, and view the properties:

Please check whether the site server where the DP is located is included in the site system server.
Similarly, in Administration> Distribution Points, find DP, you can also determine whether DP is added to a boundary group:

Reply back with the details would be happy to help.
