System wakes from sleep mode in error RRS feed

  • Question

  • A few weeks ago my system (Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1, 64-bit operating system) started waking up periodically on its own when it shouldn't. I ran a cmd command to identify what caused the last wake-up. Each time I ran this command, the system provided the following cause for the last event that woke up the PC from sleep mode:

    Owner: [PROCESS] \Device\Harddisk Volume 3\Windows\System32\svchost.exe

Owner Supplied Reason: Task Scheduler will execute '\Remediation\AntimalwareMigrationTask' task

I need help determining what to do with this set of conditions to prevent the unwarranted wake-ups from sleep mode. I appreciate the forum's assistance.
