Using Mac Dictation and Remote Desktop RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using the Microsoft Remote desktop on a Macbook Air and I have used the Mac dictation on my MacBook. However when I connect to the  Microsoft Remote Desktop using the App my dictation shut down and I can not dictate on the sever in MS Word or any other program. This works on my iPad w/o any issues. Will Mac Dictation work on the the sever using sever 2008.

  • Hi,

I just downloaded the new version of Remote Desktop and so far I haven't figured out how to get Mac Dictation to work with it. The issue is that the software seems to be on the Mac side and doesn't seem to be able to operate in the remote session. As soon as I switch into the remote session the dictation software seems to close and the option is greyed out in the Edit menu. Any ideas?
