  • Hi,

To prevent user run built-in games in Windows 7 computers, you may do following:

    1. Configure Group Policy: User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar > Remove Games link from Start Menu

    2. Configure Group Policy: User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates >Control Panel >Programs >Hide “Programs and Features” page

    3. Configure Group Policy: User Configuration >Policies> Administrative Templates >System > Don’t run specified Windows applications

Or you can restrict these applications on computer level:

Computer Configuration >Policies > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Software Restriction Policies

Software Restriction policies is available for Windows XP and later OS.

Also since you have Windows Server 2008 R2 DC and your clients are Windows 7 computers, you can use Applocker to restrict users run unauthenticated software.

Computer Configuration > Windows Settings >Security Settings >Application Control Policies > AppLocker
