626 report - something to do with Microsoft print driver report? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are a printer manufacturing company working with a large airline customer on a RFID printer solution.  We have been asked to provide our "626 Report".  Never heard of this, were told it may have to do with a Microsoft print driver report.  We have certified our drivers with Microsoft, but see no reference to a "626" report?  Any assistance is appreciated.

  • Luigi, 626 Report, probably refers to the 626 law..

If you work with a big company they usually asks you if you have completed all your assignement created by that Law.

Please, have a look at this wikipedia article and follow all the link in it:,_n._626

  • Is this requirement specific to Italy?  The airline in question is USA based - we were not given any indication of any European requirement, and what we are looking for is something that is related to either RFID regulations, or as we heard through a second source a potential Microsoft print driver report.

But thanks for the lead, will look into it further.

  • The 626 Law it's really old now and there may be newer regulations both Italian and European, but that's the only thing that comes in mind as there is for sure no Microsoft report called that way..
