Remote Desktop Connection - Multi touch gestures - Phone/Tablet RRS feed

  • Question

  • I compare remote access solutions:

Anydesk - Teamviewer - Logmein - Google Remote Desktop

To the Remote Desktop Connection solution integrated into Windows 10.

I am not able today to access my Windows 10 PC remotely, from solutions other than RDC, to use the multi gesture functionality from a mobile phone/tablet.

When I talk about multi-touch gesture, I mean swiping down in Google chrome page like we do on the mobile version of Android Chrome or iOS.

On Anydesk and other solutions, I have to use the mouse or click on the vertical scrollbar on the right and then swipe down which is not as easy as swiping in the center of the page with RDC.

Why is this feature reserved for Windows/RDC ?

Why doesn't Anydesk, Teamviewer etc.... offer this feature that should be included in their remote access solution on mobile devices/Tablets ?

Does Microsoft prevent competitors from doing so because of rights or licenses?

Would you be able to help me understand this subject ?
