Network traffic between CAS and Primary sites RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how to limit the network traffic between CAS and Primary sites (SCCM 2012 R2) ? We want to control the network traffic that only allow to transfer at night. So it will not impact our business at the day time.

We had already configured this settings on many DPs. But do not know why there is no such option in CAS and Primary Sites

    Thanks in advance.

  • The most that can be done is configuring throttling on file replication (Administration workspace -> Overview -> Hierarchy Configuration -> File Replication).

Without knowing much, much more about the environment, nothing else can be said.

  • Hi,

As Jason mentioned, we can set the schedule for each file replication route to restrict the type of data and time when data can transfer to the destination site, and we can specify rate limits for each file replication route to control the network bandwidth that is used when the site transfers data to the destination site.
