WSUS on Server 2012 - Can u Install Console only?

Question

In the 3.x version of WSUS you could choose during the installation whether you wanted a full installation og just and Admin console of WSUS.
Is this not possible with the new WSUS in Server 2012?

Yes i got that far. :)
But selecting just the "Windows Software Update Services" and de-selecting the "Database" and "WID Database" ... Would that correspond to what we formerly knew as an Admin Console Installation @ WSUS 3.0.
I Found out that it did...

Deselecting Database and WID Database still causes some trouble with the post-install task that will forever terminate with error.
Better:
Start PowerShell Console (as Administrator) and run : Install-WindowsFeature -Name UpdateServices-Ui
This will install the console only and not run a post-install task. Just connect to remote WSUS Server

We have a Server Core install running our WSUS, I used PowerShell on a management server to install the console
PS> Install-WindowsFeature -Name UpdateServices-RSAT
You can check which update services are installed using this cmdlet
PS> Get-WindowsFeature update*
