AD Site Topology with MPLS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have a globally distributed network linked via an MPLS.

I've been trying to find a best practise or microsoft recommendation for how AD replication should be configured.

I assume the creation of Sites is still very valid as we wont users to login to local domain controllers only but how should the sites be linked? Do we just leave the default site link which automatically links all sites or should we manuallt create a mesh with site links?

What is the best procatise? Are there any reason to do or not do things?

    Thanks

    Mike
