        + CategoryInfo          : InvalidArgument: (:) [Enable-ADOptionalFeature],

  • Hello,

please use the following line and try again:

    Enable-ADOptionalFeature -Identity `CN=Recycle Bin Feature,CN=Optional Features,CN=Directory Service,CN=Windows NT,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=india-testing,DC=in' -Scope Forest -Target `india-testing.in'

Difference is the SPACE is removed before DC=india-testing...:

    Enable-ADOptionalFeature -Identity `CN=Recycle Bin Feature,CN=Optional Features,CN=Directory Service,CN=Windows NT,CN=Services,CN=Configuration, DC=india-testing,DC=in' -Scope Forest -Target `india-testing.in'

  • Hello,

"ciber-india" is mentioned in your error and not "india-testing" what you used before? Why did you switch the domain name?

  • My guess is your production domain is Ciber-india and your test domain is india-testing.  Your production domain is probably not 2008 R2 and your test isn't.  So when you attempted this procedure on production it failed but your test system was ready and it worked.

  • Looks like you have problems with quotes - you seem to be mixing "`" and "' ".
