Polybase for Blob Storage, to get data from Azure Data Lake Gen2 RRS feed

    It is difficult to find documentation if this is supported or not.

    There is documentation that says import from Azure Data Lake Storage for SQL Server 2016/17/19 is not possible. But this was before the Multi-Protocol access came up, so you might think that you could use Polybase against the Blob endpoint of ADLS?

    Hi Florian,

    I found some documentation on support for ADLS Gen 2 in comments section, here is the update on support for ADLS Gen 2 and Polybase, looks like  connection to ADLS Gen 2 may be supported  if the ADLS does not support hierarchical namespace.
