Windows server 2012 IIS SSL certificate RRS feed

  • Hi Microsoft support forum,

    I have windows server 2012 R2 and installed and configure IIS on it.  I have parched  SSL from Goddady. I have added Intermediate certificate from MMC and complete certificate from ISS but at the time for binding ssl to site its not showing on listing.

    So please help me out this issue.

  • Hi you should import a compatible SSL Certificate dedicated to IIS from Godaddy:

    did you done the complete procedure ?

    if your godaddy certificate on the mmc (computer, personnal store) do not have the key on it, this is probably not the case.

    you have to create the CSR (with iis - certificate part)

    submit it on goaddy,

    godaddy will give you the CA, intermediate, and a CER or CRT (how is the response)

    you have imported the ca, intermediate --> correct.

    you have to complete request on IIS.

    this step will create the certificate with private key.

    and then, you will see it on bindings interface
