DFSR-GlobalSettings is missing in AD

    Question

  • Hello all,

    I've been getting a few issues when I run dcdiag in verbose mode.  It states that:

    [1] Problem: Missing Expected Value

    Base Object
    CN=DC-01,OU=Domain Controllers,DC=domain,DC=name,DC=ac,DC=uk
    Base Object Description: "DC Account Object"
    Value Object Attribute Name: msDFSR-ComputerReferenceBL
    Value Object Description: "SYSVOL FRS Member Object"
    Recommended Action: See Knowledge Base Article: Q312862

    So, to counter it, I started worknig through this article - http://www.allogro.com/main/

    However, I cannot see System >DFSR-GlobalSettings (I can see system).  Does anyone know what is going on?  Should I always be able to see this in AD?  I'm running AD 2008 R2
    Note: I have enabled advanced settings.

    Thanks

    LaszloPuskas

    PS - I have a similar thread already, with a similar issue.  But I thought I would start a new thread as this is slightly different and the older one was getting a little bit messy.
