WSUS Server Cleanup Wizard Logfile RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear Microsoft Forum

I ran the "Server Cleanup Wizard" on my Windows 2012 R2 WSUS Server 6.3.9600.18228.

I had checked also the Option "Computers not contacting the server", therefore when the "Server Cleanup Wizard" completed it shows that 6 Computers were deleted from WSUS. But i dont know which 6 Computers and i have to know.

I already checked the Logfiles under %programfiles%\Update Services\Logfiles and Event Viewer -> Application, but found nothing

No my question is, how i can see which 6 Computers were deleted? Is there any Logfile of the "Server Cleanup Wizard"?

    Kind regards,

    Eiven

  • Hi Eivencito,

It's pity to say that I didn't find such logs to record the detailed information about Server Cleanup Wizard. WSUS log "Change.log" and "SoftwareDistribution.log" don't record the information.

As far as I'm concerned, next time before you run server cleanup wizard, you may check the computers "Last Status Report" and "Last Contact" data.

    Best Regards,

    Anne
