Called-Station-ID regex Pattern does not work ?? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

im trying to seperate from which W-LAN SSID the User comes.

    I've tried follwoing regex pattern:

    ^[^:]+:DRMO$

    ^[^:]+:DRMO

    .*:DRMO$

    .*:DRMO

Like that Tool, its matching: http://regexlib.com/%28X%281%29A%2892YSbTbdJJ_IiSPvDpl7aKA91FK1gzsh2pPJvpcdKbZBKjUyHCcbg-Fj3TnH2Z1wD8NArIPwYvn24oHwnKt_Ln1N9_NgUSpaTIapZuSPF90rF2FU0Sc8NLgJhvNC2-o71UQPxzdn1_h1m9Wco4oHilGXYYi2XiLLuyDmPBWCP1q0h-lZBSg7Le3Ze7Mfc0Dj0%29%29/RETester.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1 on every pattern.

But for NPS it seems not correct.... If i enter the full mac+ssid it works. (    Called Station Identifier:        00-26-3E-AC-45-42:DRMO )

Im using Windows Server 2008 - with SP2. Latest patches.

    Does anyone has an idea?

    Thanks!

    Constantin

  • What a kick-ass Config.... I was trying to edit the Called-Station-ID at the "Constraints" Tab. But there its just not working.

I saw another config in a .pdf which helps me to get this fixed. You have just to use the Called-Station-ID which is unter the Conditions Tab....

(Be careful and dont use Calling-Station-ID :-))

Like that it was working for me....

    Thanks...

  • Hi Constantin,

    Thank you for your post.

Please try to use this pattern:
    ^[A-Fa-f0-9-]*:DRMO
Based on Using Regular Expressions in NPS article.

If there are more inquiries on this issue, please feel free to let us know.
