¿It is possible to change the quorum disk without recreating the cluster? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

I have shared space from an array disk, this disk have 2 partition that I see and share with two nodes (ms cluster) I read in somewhere that microsoft recommends that the quorum disk have to work in a different disk not in the same with the data partition. As I say I have the quorum and data partition with the same disk in two partition.

My question is: ¿If I have another disk that its available for the two nodes, can I change the quorum disk without recreate the cluster again? ¿Does anyone have tried this?

The OS is a Windows 2003 Enterprise 32bits with two nodes, the configuration is active-passive. The array disk is a DS4800 connected via HBA's.

I hope you guys understand what Im trying to say.

    Thanks.

    Roberto.
