Issue with Home Drive not mounting RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a Windows 2003 Domain, and a Windows 2008 TS/Citrix XenApp5.0 farm

Users home drives that are defined inside their AD account with Terminal Server Home Drive are not getting mounted at all inside their TS session. Additional drives that are mapped over VBS are fine. All shares are on a Windows 2008 file server cluster.

Anybody shed any light on this gremlin?

  • Maybe there is a login script that deletes the drive mapping?

  • No nothing in the Event Logs at all FYI the W2008 TS is SP2

  • A little bit further - it appears that a User Lock down GPO, is causing the home drive not to map. When I disabled the GPO link, the home drive was there. It disappeared when I renabled it. Ive looked over the GPO and cant see anything that would really cause this issue. I have Hide Drives enabled A,B, C and D Only

  • Yip you're right - the VB login script is dropping the Networkdrive map
