  • Question

  • Does anyone know if it is possible to utilize a KMS server published in DNS for OS Licensing and utilize a different KMS server for office licensing?

Sorry to post here. There is not really a forum for this question.

  • Hi,

    Of cause you can.

Guidance on installing a second KMS host for Office in an environment that has an existing KMS host for Windows.

  • Hi,

You can use as much kms server as you want. It's a possibility to have high availability for this service.

You have just to use one with windows key and the other with office key and install office activation prerequisite.

SRV records in dns will be added for client to locate the kms host
