"No active network adapters found"

  • I installed Server2012R2 as core installation successfully.

After installation I started 'sconfig' and got the warning "No active network adapters found".

With 'pnputil -i -a' I installed the same driver now as I used on Server 2012R2 GUI installation at a second partition on the same pc. This driver installation seems to be also successfully (Message: Number successfully imported: 1). Also a reboot does not solve the problem.

    Mainboard: DZ77SL-50K

OnBoard Intel network: used driver v18.1 - e1c64x64.inf

Has anyone an idea what the problem is?

  • Thanks for several hints. The board I could not found in server catalog and the Intel driver I could not installed on the system. My solution: I have installed a PCI Realtek network adapter with inbox driver. This works fine and I can configure the system.
