Remote PC will not sleep after RDP session RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a (remote) PC with Windows 7 Ultimate and MS Office installed.

    RDP-sessions from windows pc's work. They wake up the remote PC (a feature of the pc, not of the RDP program) and after disconnecting (logoff) the PC enters into sleep again.

    RDP-sessions from a Mac using Microsoft Remote Desktop 'app' work OK. Only after disconnecting (with the logoff command on the remote-pc) the PC refuses to sleep again!

    The only remedy is to restart the remote PC.

    Hoped this issue of MS Remote Desktop 'app' would have been solved with recent app-update, but unfortunately still the same problem.

    Someone an idea ?

    Did you find any useful log during this issue?
    Does this happens on single device? Please try to reinstall latest app on that device or try using other device and check whether facing same issue.

    You can find log over here;

    Hope it helps!

    Thanks.
