  • Iam trying to install my new pixma ip2700 but it keeps telling me that the spooler needs to be started well i have tried everything and it still won't start what's going on?????? should i get a computer tech to get the spooler working properly??????

    pls help it's getting very frustrating

    I suggest you try the following:


    1. Test the issue with another computer.

    2. Reinstall the driver

    3. Use the Windows Troubleshooter:


    Printer problems in Windows


    4. Clear the print spooler queue

    =================================

    Click start, type cmd in the search bar, right click cmd and run as administrator. Type the following commands and press enter.


    net stop spooler

    del /F /Q %systemroot%\System32\spool\PRINTERS\*

    net start spooler


    5. Test the issue in Clean Boot mode and check if there is some conflicts with the printer.
