Windows 2008 server std R2 terminal services get kicked out session

  • Previously I'm using W2k3 server. I'm able to emote desktop from my XP or vista client into the server for at least  2 different concurent session without any addional server roles or terminal service license installed on. But now in W2k8 I can only do a single session and when second session user try to login it will kick the first session user out. Any advise or this a correct behavior?

  • Yes the post seems correct.

But the path pointed by the moderator I can't seem to find it for Windows 2008 server - Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Terminal Services- terminal session restrcition. It seem that path it for Windows 2003 server. Any advise.
