  • Question

  • Good day,

When our Workstations looses trust with the Domain it removes all the Programs loaded after it was SCCM?

I am struggling a lot with this and it seem to happen more often to the Workstations.

  • I think you may be posting this into the sccm forum.

do you know the reason your clients loose their trust with the domain?

this is normally down to DNS issues, or the compouter being offline for a period of time.

As to the applications removing I've not heard of this happening before, but I would expect it is to do with the way they were deployed through sccm. Any more details on this?

  • Hi,

When a computer lost trust with domain, it can't be able authenticate to access to domain resource . it don't loose application or data.

Try to launch sysprep in computer which has this problem , it can be caused by image used to install computer, sysprep will renew SID, to avoid conflict

  • I wonder if the OP is deploying apps using APP-V and AD groups - hence he sees the behaviour they are disappearing?

I agree with others, machine looses trust relationship or domain membership doesn't deletes its data automatically, until its configured to do so either using script or deletion of profile post log off. SCCM is a great tool & it works quite effectively considering its been configured & used properly. I heard instance whr wrong usage of SCCM (schedule task with domain admin account) formatted lot of the client system. So, its unclear to me what you did becasue the details you provided in your post is insufficient.
