i want to get mail notification of log report when log entered in to system

  • Dear Team

    i want to get mail notification of log report , that means server 2008 we have assigned for event viewer once error message came into particular event (ex:system, application,security)in the server , that error message and error code i want to receive in my mail id , i have searched lot's but i did not get the code and i did not modified code also so please if you know about that please share with me

    Based on my research, I will give you the following recommendations. Hope it is helpful to you:
    1. Task Scheduler with "trigger on an event" may meet your needs.
    2. Then you can use Send-MailMessage cmdlet to send a mail.
