  • Is e: defined as a cluster resource?

Have you run the cluster validation wizard to see if the cluster thinks everything is configured correctly?

  • Hi,

Just wanted to double check if the user you assign FullAccess actually exists?

You can test with the following command:

New-SmbShare -Name ”T1” -Path ”E:\Test2” -FullAccess ”Authenticated Users”

    Best regards,

    Leon

  • Hi,

Did you run this command on the owner node for the file server?

And, the E drive can display in the disk management of this node?

Could you "New-SMBshare" to add a new share in the local drive of the node, like C?

In addition, here's a similar thread as yours (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48937057/error-while-setting-up-a-new-smb-share-using-powershell), please try to disable "Continuously Available" on this share to see if it works.

    Hope this helps.
