SharePoint 2013 Profile Synchronization Status Idle not Synchronization

Hi,

Profile Synchronization not working, does not synch data from AD. when i click on start Profile Synchronization either select full or increment does not work either.

i have checked user profile and synchronization services are running both FIM service are running, AppFabric chacing service is disable. i have stop and start synchronization service but still have problem.

pls guide what is an issue and how to synch user profile services.

Hi imughal,

Make sure the Forefront Identity Manager Synchronization Service and the Forefront Identity Manager Service are using the farm account as the service account. And both of them are running.

The Synchronization Connection Account must have Replicating Directory Changes permission on the Domain you are syncing with.

Make sure you choose the correct OU when create the sync connection. You can try to recreate the sync connection.

Make sure you have not exclude the user from sync connection.

If the issue still exists, you can use the MIISClient to monitor this process and review issues related to the User Profile Service Application.
