Windows 10 1809 LTSC Cumulative update(s) not showing configuration manager RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm on 1810 configuration manager

when I setup an ADR rule for say 1 month the only thing that comes back is:

1-2019 cumulative update for .net framework

if I go to this page:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4483235

I see there are updates, if I search on kb number outside of ADR nothing is found

I did notice in products it only lists: LTSB and not LTSC

  • Hello,

Check WCM.log and wsyncmgr.log to see if there are some errors.

Make sure the sync is completed from the monitor node in SCCM.

Open WSUS console, check the products and classifications is the same as SUP. Check that if you could find 1809 updates which are in the 1809 update history. If not, test that if you could import them into WSUS.

Hope my answer could help you and look forward to your feedback.

    Best Regards,

  • Hello,

The updates from the above link exist in my SCCM console.

They are under Product "Windows 10" and Classification "Updates"/"Security Updates". So make sure you have selected them in the SUP setting. Also, check the sync status under the monitor node to make sure the last synchronization was successful.

Hope my answer could help you and look forward to your feedback.

    Best Regards,
    Ray

  • Hello, I tried your suggestion and checked the "windows 10" and classification and "updates/security updates" still no luck.  I am only getting the .net updates and older versions of windows 10 such as 1507, no 1809 windows updates

here is what I have set: oh, I did sync ok after ticking the windows 10

the only 1809 updates I get are cumulative update for .net framework 3.5 and 4.7.2 for windows 10 version 1809

    products:
windows 10 LTSB, there is no windows 10 LTSC
    windows 10

    classifications:
    critical
    security
    update rollups
    updates

  • Hello,

Is your SUP sync from Microsoft or from an upstream WSUS server?

  • it's working now

    thanks for your help

the classifications were the same in wsus as SUP

for some reason when I went to WSUS, I noticed a cancel error during the sync process, I'm not sure if that was something I had did because in sccm it was showing sync ok.

anyway it was setup to auto sync this morning at 2am and that's when everything worked as expected and I'm showing 1809 updates

    again, thanks for your help
